Shake Shack’s 2024 Holiday Cocktails Are Full of Sugar, Spice and Everything Good

Time and time again, Shake Shack has proven its worth. one of the best hamburger chains in America. Not to be overlooked is the work it does with the first part of its name – shakes. The taste of chocolate (and even a non-dairy option), vanilla, strawberry, and cookies and cream have always been the standard bearer cocktails on his menu. However, seasonal flavors add to the fun of Shake Shack’s menu throughout the year (and there are even special collaborations like this one wanted to burn your tongue, figuratively speaking). Daniel Meyer’s Burger usually saves its most festive and cheerful dishes to ring in the end of the year. Three cocktails will be available to try in 2024, with returning favorites offering new flavors: Christmas Cookie Shake, Chocolate Yule Log Shake and Apple Cider Donut Shake.

So which of these three handcrafted cocktails is worthy of your holiday spirit and dollars, and which one might need to be crossed off your list? How to Buy Shake Shack Holiday Cocktails

Three holiday shakes—the Christmas Cookie, Chocolate Yule Log and Apple Cider Donut—are available to order at participating U.S. locations or Shake Shack for a limited time only. They come in a single “regular size” and can be ordered with or without whipped cream. Suggested retail price is $6.49, but in New York at Hudson Yards my price is $6.99 each. If you order a cocktail between 14:00 and 17:00, you will receive the second cocktail absolutely free. Restrictions do apply and this offer is valid until the end of 2024.

Cocktails can usually be ordered any time Shake Shack is open, while supplies last. They can be ordered in-store, at the checkout counter, at an order kiosk, or at a pick-up point, if available. Pre-ordering for pickup, dine-in and even delivery is available through the Shake Shack app and website.

What does Shake Shack’s Christmas Cookie Shake taste like?

While some holiday products only hint at the fact that they’re Christmas-y, Shake Shack’s Christmas Shake not only advertises it in its name, but wears it proudly on its sleeve thanks to its energetic appearance. If you’ve ever eaten christmas sugar cookiesYou will instantly feel warm and comfortable when you look at this cocktail. Although the whipped cream is whiter than the standard lightly tanned Christmas cookie, the red and evergreen cakes interspersed with white snowflakes will teleport your brain and taste buds straight to December 25th.

The topping is nice, crunchy and of course sweet. The texture becomes even more interesting and delicious when the straw begins to suck up the crumbled shortbread pieces hidden inside the cocktail. This stark white cocktail was rich and creamy and almost tasted like a seasonally appropriate Yankee Candle (it’s great).

While the sugar town of this cocktail might be a little hard to swallow after a while, it easily achieved its goal of Christmas cookie flavor and, most importantly, flavor. The Christmas Cookie Shake contains 880 calories, 44 grams of fat, 27 grams of saturated fat, 260 grams of cholesterol, 840 grams of sodium, 95 grams of carbohydrates, 97 grams of sugar and 20 grams of sugar.

What does Shake Shack’s Chocolate Christmas Shake taste like?

It’s pretty much a chocolate lover’s dream, but for some it might be too much. What’s missing is some extra white creaminess in the cocktail to break up the flavor a bit. The apple cider donut shake contains 840 calories, 43 grams fat, 26 grams saturated fat, 260 grams cholesterol, 480 grams sodium, 95 grams total carbohydrates, 90 grams sugar and 20 grams sugar.

Final Thoughts on Shake Shack Holiday Cocktails

Before I finally ranked these holiday cocktails, I dipped a few of Shake Shack’s signature fries into each one. The Christmas cookies are so sweet that they practically neutralize the saltiness of the fries. When these ribbed legs met the chocolate Yule log, it almost ceased to be a fry at all. When it came to dipping it into an apple cider donut, it was a perfect match. The potato flavor of the fried potatoes came through first, followed by the pleasant sweetness of the shake soon after.

Judging the greatness of a shank should not be tied to how it interacts with the fry, but these results were telling nonetheless. The Chocolate Christmas Log is a tidal wave of chocolate, and some lovers may end up too drowned in its richness to enjoy it. Christmas Cookie Cake is a much more affordable cocktail. It’s closer to a typical vanilla shake, but kicks it up a notch to match the taste of a real sugar cookie. Again, the apple cider donut seems a little out of place in this trio of holiday cocktails, but there’s no doubt you’ll enjoy it. fall for this just like me.
