Raccoon fell from the ceiling at LaGuardia Airport

(CNN) – Travelers received a furry, four-legged surprise at New York’s LaGuardia Airport Monday morning.

A raccoon fell from the ceiling near the Spirit Airlines gate.

A video of the animal clinging to the cable was posted on social media.

An eyewitness says the raccoon fell and then ran around the area for several minutes before crews were able to get it outside.

Spirit Airlines released a statement saying it was reviewing the incident with a professional wildlife control company.

No injuries were reported.
