Buckingham Palace is making encouraging news after Duchess Sophie was hit by a golf ball during a royal engagement on Tuesday.

Prince Edward traveled to Cambridge on Wednesday to continue his royal engagements, just a day after his wife’s accident.

King Charles’s younger brother had the opportunity to meet young artists and learn how they have benefited from the Cambridge Junction programme, which first started in 1990.

In an update posted on the royal family’s official social media channels, a carousel showed highlights of the royal visit.

“The Duke of Edinburgh visited Cambridge Junction this week to see the charity and arts center’s work with young people and emerging artists,” the statement said.

“During the visit, His Royal Highness met artists and young people who benefit from the centre’s programmes, including Olive Academy students who took part in a DJ masterclass and sound checks from local young musicians at a long-running new music evening. groups.”

The post went on to say: “The Duke spoke to students, staff and members of the Cambridge Junction Artist Development Program who were rehearsing for new productions before unveiling a plaque marking their first royal visit.”

The Duchess of Edinburgh was photographed playing crazy golf as she visited the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) as a patron on Tuesday.

However, when Sophie hit the ball with a golf club, it quickly bounced back and hit the Duchess in the face.

The Duke’s exit shortly after Sophie’s injury was a relief, indicating that the Duchess was okay.
