According to a new report, the Korean tech giant is hoping to release the next-generation Galaxy Ring 2 earlier than expected.

According to a leak from yeux1122 the same source who recently hinted at more Affordable Galaxy Z Flip coming next year Samsung may release the Galaxy Ring 2 “a little earlier” than originally planned. While there’s no exact timeline yet, given that the first-gen Galaxy Ring was announced in February 2024 and released in July, the next-gen model will likely debut sometime in the second half of next year.

It’s worth noting that smart rings don’t follow the annual update cycle that we often see with smartwatches. For example, Oura Ring 3 was released in 2021, and its successor is the Oura Ring 4will arrive only in October 2024.
