Dense fog warning until 8am, otherwise sunny.

Twin cities and points north under DENSE FOG WARNING UNTIL 8AM. with patchy dense fog creating poor visibility, mainly near river valleys and areas north of the Twin Cities.

Once patchy, dense fog clears this Thursday morning, the remainder of the day will be mostly sunny with west-southwest winds 5 to 15 mph, with a high near 50 degrees. Tonight, clear skies with some patches of fog and lows, temperatures in the mid to upper 30s with light winds.

Mostly sunny and pleasant Friday with a high near 50 degrees and east northeast wind 5 to 10 mph, then clear to partly cloudy Friday evening with a low near 40 degrees and east southeast wind at speeds of 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday starts out sunny, but clouds quickly increase by midday and rain begins after 6 p.m. Highs on Friday and Saturday will be in the low 50s with east-southeast winds between 5 and 15 mph. Rain is likely Saturday night through Sunday afternoon before clearing up Sunday just before sunset, with highs near 50 degrees.

Veterans Day Monday is sunny, partly cloudy and windy with temperatures in the mid 50s. Tuesday will bring gusty southeast winds up to 30 mph with increasing clouds and highs in the low to mid 50s. Rain is possible late Tuesday and likely Wednesday, with scattered T-storms and highs in the upper 50s Wednesday.
