Man critically injured in shooting near Harry and Webb streets

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A man was hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting was reported Wednesday evening at an apartment complex near Garry and Webb roads.

Police said a call made around 9:30 p.m. led officers to the scene to find the injured man being taken in a private vehicle to a local hospital. Police spoke with possible witnesses at the scene and confirmed that the suspect and victim knew each other.

As of Thursday morning, investigators were still looking into what led to the shooting.
