First round picks begin filling in at mcc.ninc.in

NEET PG Counseling 2024: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will today open a selection center for counseling postgraduate students for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET PG 2024). Candidates must fill the application form and submit their preferred courses and colleges by November 17 to participate in the first round of counseling.

The NEET PG counseling schedule has recently been released on the official website mcc.nic.in for admission to MD, MS, MDS and DNB courses. On November 6, MCC updated the NEET PG Counseling Brochure to include detailed information on the eligibility and counseling procedures of the Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS). Starting this academic year, MCC will provide AFMS counseling for priority categories 3, 4 and 5 candidates.

Registered candidates will be able to lock their choice from 4:00 pm to 11:55 pm on November 17th. Allotment of seats will be based on merit, availability of seats, options submitted and previous cutting trends and the results will be declared on November 20th.

Candidates may submit as many options as they wish, but they must rank them in order of preference as the allocation of seats will depend on this order and the availability of seats. After each round, MCC will reopen the registration and selection point for the next rounds of counseling.
