Boys Athlete of the Month: Maurice Washington (Osceola, football and basketball)

The boys’ Athlete of the Month for October was Osceola’s Maurice Washington. He received 1112 votes. MJ is an impact player for the Seminoles in football and basketball. Washington totaled 12 touchdowns this season while Osceola captured the 3A-3 championship. He has 679 yards of total offense.

Girls Athlete of the Month: Taryn Sink (Tuckerman Golf)

October’s girls athlete of the month is Taryn Sink of Tuckerman. She was a 2024 graduate in women’s golf. Cink won the 2A-3 championship by 12 shots and the Lady Bulldogs captured the team title. After that, Taryn became a medalist at the 2A state championship. She won by 20 shots, the Lady Bulldogs finishing 4th as a team.
