Inaki Williams teaches a Spanish TV presenter the popular Ghanaian language Twi: video

Ghanaian footballer Inaki Williams showed off his fluency in Twi as he lectured a Spanish TV presenter on how to speak the popular local dialect.

Williams and his younger brother Nico were on a TV show in Spain to promote their new film Los Williams.

The brothers spoke about a wide range of issues, including their parents’ migration from Ghana to Spain and how they ended up as part of Bilbao.

Athletic Bilbao and Black stars The striker also gifted the host his Ghana jersey after giving him some Twi lessons.

In a video posted on social mediaInaki is seen teaching the host how to exchange pleasantries by asking how a person is doing in Twi and also giving the correct answer.

Williams was born in Bilbao to Ghanaian parents and has since studied the cultures of both countries. He has decided to represent Ghana internationally in 2022 despite having played for Spain once, as reported Graphics online.

The Bilbao striker represented Ghana at the World Cup. World Championship and the African Cup of Nations.

Williams enjoys his Ghanaian heritage

Although Inaki Williams spent most of his time in Spain, he never forgot his roots and always showed a desire to learn more about his country.

Williams and his brother have repeatedly shared moments of Ghanaian pride as they ate Ghanaian delicacies or listened to music from the West African country.

He also tries to speak Twi when he is around his Black Stars teammates.

Williams scores in Athletic Bilbao win

Previously, Yen.com.gh reported that Black Stars striker Inaki Williams continued his hot form for Athletic Bilbao. after their comeback victory over Ludogorets in the Europa League.

The Ghana international scored for the second game in a row after scoring the equalizer in the second half.

Williams deftly beat his defenders with his first touch before firing home in the 73rd minute.
