Cristiano Ronaldo MISSES Al Nasr’s Saudi Pro League match after his partner Georgina Rodriguez said she had been discharged from hospital after a four-day health battle

Cristiano Ronaldo was noticeably absent from the 3-3 Saudi Pro League draw on Friday night after his partner Georgina Rodriguez was released from hospital.

Rodriguez said she spent four days in the hospital with pneumonia and told her fans on social media that she was on the mend and continuing to recover at home.

Ronaldo, who featured for his club in two previous matches last week, missed out on the deadlock with bottom half side Al Cold.

The Sun reported that Rodriguez was admitted to a Saudi German hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she lives with Ronaldo.

The influencer and model have been with the Portuguese superstar since 2016 after they met at a Gucci retail store in Madrid.

They have two children, and Ronaldo has three more children from previous relationships.

Rodriguez wrote in a post on social media: “Finally back home! I spent four days in the hospital with pneumonia and am feeling better now but am still recovering at home with my family.

“I have to say a big THANK YOU to all the staff, doctors, nurses and everyone at the hospital… they looked after me so wonderfully and I am so grateful for that.

“Thank you everyone for such a wonderful vacation.”

When Ronaldo joined Al-Nasr in January 2023, it was reported that he and Rodriguez were given permission by the kingdom’s rulers to live together.

This was an exception to the rule that unmarried couples are not allowed to live together in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, performing in Los AngelesDuring the test season of her hit Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, Rodriguez revealed how thrilled she was when she learned Ronaldo was moving to the Middle East at the end of 2022.

“When Chris told me he was going to play for Al-Nasr, I was so relieved because I really wanted to leave Manchester,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez added: “I knew we were in for something big and we were very motivated. I was very happy to come to Saudi Arabia.”

However, the couple and their children’s transition to life in Saudi Arabia was not smooth.

“Everything happened so quickly,” Rodriguez said. “I had some ups and downs at the beginning because we had never lived in a hotel for so long. There were days when I didn’t want anyone to see me, but overall I was very excited.”
