The closure is expected to last until mid-April.

The affected area includes 17th Avenue, which will be closed from Clara Avenue in the east to Dora Avenue in the west.

Despite the road closure, 17th Avenue will remain open to traffic and visitors heading to the Ohio Expo Center, Ohio History Connection Stadium and Historic Crew Stadium.

Visitors are advised to use the 17th Avenue exit from I-71; specific directions vary by approach:

  • From the North: Take I-71 South to the 17th Avenue exit (Exit 111).
  • From the South: Take I-71 north to the 17th Avenue exit (Exit 111).
  • From the West: Take I-70 East to I-71 North, then exit 17th Avenue (Exit 111).
  • From the East: Take I-70 West to I-71 North, then exit 17th Avenue (Exit 111).

Residents in the surrounding area are advised to use alternate exits from I-71, such as Hudson Street or 11th Avenue, to circumvent the closure.
