Premier League: I’m starting to worry about this team – Roy Keane on Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool

Former Manchester United star Roy Keane has expressed concern about the mentality of the current Arsenal team.

Keane’s concerns stem from the Gunners’ entertaining 2-2 draw at home to Liverpool on Sunday.

After losing 2-0 to Bournemouth last weekend, the Gunners dropped points again with a draw.

Mohamed Salah scored nine minutes from time to give Liverpool a point at the Emirates.

Arsenal took the lead through a fine goal from Bukayo Saka before Virgil van Dijk headed the scoreline 1–1.

The Gunners took the lead again towards the end of the first half, with Mikel Merino scoring his first goal for Arsenal.

Keane, speaking on Sky Sports, questioned Arsenal’s decision to sit back rather than try to finish the game when they were 2-1 up.

“I’m starting to worry about the Arsenal mentality: you’re 2-1 up and I’m still looking at it like, ‘Go ahead, win the game.’

“When they come forward, they fall back. “Liverpool were there to take it,” he said.
