Deputies: Medical emergency leads to crash on SR 96 near Eastview Mall

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has provided an update on a crash that occurred on State Route 96 in Victor over the weekend.

Around 11 a.m. Sunday, first responders from the sheriff’s office, Fishers Fire Department and Victor Farmington Ambulance responded to the area of ​​Turk Hill Road. and Eastview Mall for reporting a traffic accident with unknown injuries.

Upon arrival, they discovered that a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Alan Pitman of Webster had crashed into a guardrail. He suffered a medical emergency that led to the crash, deputies said.

Litman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
