Harris-Walz 2024 Campaign Activates Voters at ONE Music Fest in Atlanta

The Harris for President campaign, in partnership with BET and the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC), is launching an aggressive voter engagement campaign this weekend at the ONE Music Fest in Atlanta. With the general election quickly approaching, this activation aims to connect with participants by offering resources to help them make a plan to vote while showcasing top-level performances. The event marks another bold initiative by the Harris campaign to reach Black voters through popular cultural events.

The campaign’s presence at ONE Music Fest includes a branded activation space, a primary campaign surrogate address, and a range of voter engagement resources. The activation area will feature a photo booth where visitors can capture moments by scanning QR codes linked directly to voting scheduling tools. In addition, digital push notifications will encourage festival-goers to visit the booth and collect voting information.

“Vice President Harris has made it very clear: We do not take any voter for granted,” said Democratic National Political Director Brencia Berry. “That’s why we have been consistent and creative in strategically engaging with Black voters to highlight the importance of this election to our community. One Music Fest is the perfect platform to send the message that none of us can afford to miss this election.

“Vice President Harris has not only addressed the issues we care about most—like creating jobs and closing the racial wealth gap—but she is also charting a new path forward that includes protecting our health care and fighting hard for rights. Donald Trump, on the other hand, doesn’t care about our community or our culture. “

This involvement builds on the campaign’s presence at other high-profile events, from Essence Fest to the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Initiatives like these aim to create meaningful connections with Black voters across the country. By combining voter resources with a culturally resonant setting, Harris’ campaign is making it clear: voting matters this election cycle.

As part of its efforts, the campaign has also recruited influencers such as Quavo, Kerry Washington and John Legend to support voter awareness. At ONE Music Fest, the campaign will continue to gain momentum through collaborations with artists, the installation of a media tent and advertising broadcast on the festival stages.
