How, where to watch Breeders Crown races for FREE: time, channels

The Breeders’ Crown will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings at The Meadowlands.

It is an annual sled racing series in the United States and Canada covering each of the sport’s twelve traditional categories of age, gait and sex.

You can watch it Friday on FS1 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm or live on FS1. Sling TV (discount) or DirectTV Stream (FREE trial and discount).

Saturday’s racing will take place on FS2 and can be viewed live on FS2. Sling TV (discount) or DirectTV Stream (FREE trial and discount).

The series was initiated by the Hambletonian Society, organizers of the Hambletonian Stakes, in 1984 with the aim of developing the Standardbred breeding industry and promoting the sport of harness racing by staging lucrative high-profile championship races in each of these categories.

These races are advertised as year-end championships for each division with the slogan “it’s all about the Breeders’ Crown”.

The $700,000 finals for two-year-olds of both sexes and gaits will take place on Friday.

Saturday will feature the $600,000 3-Year-Old Foal Trot, $600,000 3-Year-Old Filly Trot, $600,000 3-Year-Old Colt Pace, $600,000 3-Year-Old Filly Trot, Open Trot $600,000, open pace $600,000, open pace $496,000. Mare Trot and Open Mare Pace with a $400,000 buy-in.
