Freya Allan from The Witcher wraps up filming Season 4 and gives a special gift

Production at Expected Season 4 of The Witcher appears to be coming to an end, with Ciri star Freya Allan celebrating something of a Witcher tradition. Allan took to Instagram to thank her. co-stars in the film “Rats” for a great season, calling it “the most special seasonin his post, but Allan isn’t finished yet. Allan also shared portraits of her colleagues, which she then donated. If this sounds a little familiar, there used to be a tradition that Henry Cavill would send a gift wrapped after production ended, and now Allan has put her own twist on it (H/T Redanian Intelligence).

The portraits she showed were of Mistle (Crystell Alwyn), Spark (Aggie K. Adams), Giselher (Ben Radcliffe), Reef (Juliet Alexandra), Kaylee (Fabian McCallum) and Ass (Connor Crawford), which you can see in the Instagram post below. In this post, she wrote: “Mistle, Spark, Gieseler, Reef, Kaylee, Ass. I love you all. Thank you for the most special season of @witchernetflix.”

There are also photos of Allan celebrating some time with several of the cast members, but there is also a post of Allan giving Adams a framed portrait that you can watch right here (via @sixofzoya). It’s great that they had such a great time on set, and it bodes well for the show when fans finally see season four play out.

Something special

Ciri met the Rats in the final episode of season three, and her storyline with them will be an important part Season 4 onwards. While we’ll likely have to wait a little longer to see how it comes to life on screen (season four is set to wrap filming towards the end of this month, after all), we do have some hints at what fans can expect from the series. The band is courtesy of an interview with casting director Sophie Holland.

“I recently had the wonderful opportunity to direct a very special – almost stand-alone – episode of the fourth season of The Witcher, which focuses on a completely new group of people. We were able to find almost all new talent,” Holland said. Deadline. “We found a boy called Connor Crawford for The Continental, whose scenes with Mel Gibson were all in a hotel bunker, and we were able to put him in a group of kids in The Witcher. He is very special. The whole group is very interesting in terms of talent: Christel Alvin, Juliet Alexandra, Ben Radcliffe. You meet the characters in season three and then they come into their own in season four.”

The fourth season is expected to end this month, followed by a four-month hiatus. Filming will then begin on the fifth season, which, as previously reported, will be the final season of the main show. There have been talks of other spin-off projects, and animated films like Nightmare of the Wolf appear to still be in the works, but time will tell what else is in store for the franchise. We currently have two more big seasons ahead of us, as well as everything that’s going to happen in the video games, so fans of the franchise have a lot of options.
