When Vivian returns with a big surprise, Louise Sorel warns that she wants “control”

By this time it became known that Louise Sorel was returning Vivian to Days of Our Lives starting Monday, October 28th. And we all know that wherever Vivian goes, trouble is sure to follow. And this suits her heroine quite well!

As fun as it is to see her back on screen, Sorel says coming home to Salem is always just as rewarding. “Whenever I get a call,” the legendary actress says about people from Days of Our Lives“I’m showing up.”

“It’s so sweet,” she continues. “I can’t tell you that the people we work with, the actors, everyone is really just… They work so hard and are so open. It’s always nerve-wracking to go back and hope you can get through it because it’s so fast and there’s a lot of dialogue. They help out because if I make a mistake, I can’t stand it. They will never make you feel bad about it. These things happen, but they are beautiful.”

Of course, people on screen never greet Vivian with the same enthusiasm as Sorel!

“I’m always greeted so well,” the actress laughs in character. “Vivian, what are you doing here?!” Oh my god, it’s Vivian…” You know? What I like. It’s fun just to invade.”

This time, however, she will at least bring someone with her to keep her company in the sea of ​​hostility, because Ivan is finally coming back with her! This will be the first time since 2019 that Sorel and Ivan G’Vera, who plays Vivian’s loyal servant/confidant, will be together. (Though the scenes they filmed then didn’t air until 2020.) But both actors remain in touch. and she will always like this combination.

“He drove me crazy,” she laughs at G’vera, “because he’d come in the morning for makeup and ask, “Do we have any lines today?” We had five pages or so. ‘Are you kidding me?!’ I mean, it was a joke, but yeah, we had a very, very good comedic relationship. I really love him.”

Luckily, even when Vivian and Ivan fail to reconnect on screen, their characters still keep in touch – although that shouldn’t be a surprise after working together for over three decades!

“He calls me from time to time,” Sorel says of Ivan’s character. “He calls and says: “Madam. How are you?’ I really miss this relationship (between Ivan and Vivian). It worked very well.”

As for what brought the controversial duo back, you can bet it has something to do with both of them. Return of Philip And Stefan’s shocking departure. As Sorel says, “She always comes back to get something. And annoy everyone.” However, this time she also took advantage of the Titan flip to get her “son” Philip in her claws. “She’s so bossy,” explains longtime character Vivian. “I think she’s always trying to control him.”

Of course, if she manages to do this, and Philip actually takes control of the Titan, then Vivian will have a lot of power at her disposal! And if there are two things Vivian loves, it’s money and power. But something tells us that this is easier said than done, especially if time to achieve her goals is limited. Because, unfortunately, this is not a permanent return, although Sorel would like to bring Vivian back permanently. But these days it’s difficult.

“She’s no longer welcome in Salem,” Sorel explains with a sigh. “She just shows up at events. I don’t know how she’s capable of more unless she’s taken refuge in the city. She just flies in and out.”

At the moment we are happy with the time Vivian gives us. And who knows? Someday, maybe they’ll figure out a way to keep her in town forever. Without a doubt, all of Salem is shaking at this thought… We are sure with excitement!
