Loch Ness landmark Urquhart Castle to close for 3 days, Historic Scotland warns tourists and Highland visitors

The attraction of Loch Ness, which is one of the most visited. Historic environment of Scotland sites in the country will be closed for several days in early November.

Historic Environment Scotland has warned visitors that Urquhart Castle, near Drumnadrochit, will be closed from Monday to Wednesday, November 4 to 6 inclusive.

It opens on Thursday, November 7th.

Historic Environment Scotland said the closure was to allow “essential maintenance work” to be carried out on the popular site.
