Chicago shooting: 50-year-old man shot and killed in Little Village apartment at Cermak and Lawndale Avenues, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — A man was shot and killed Sunday morning at a Little Village apartment complex.

The shooting happened around 2:07 a.m. near West Cermak Road and Lawndale Avenue, according to Chicago police.

A 50-year-old man was found shot to death inside the apartment with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

A witness told police a man and woman were responsible for the shooting. They were seen fleeing in an SUV.

No one is in custody.
