Nick Bosa crashes interview with 49ers teammates to make Donald Trump statement after Cowboys win

San Francisco 49ers powerhouse Nick Bosa flaunted his “Make America Great Again” hat after the team’s win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football just days before the 2024 election.

The star pass rusher appeared behind Purdy and, without saying a word, pointed to his white and gold MAGA cap before running away from the camera.

“Okay, Nick Bosa with a message,” Stark said, laughing at being interrupted while his teammates grinned and chuckled at the stunt.

His teammates did not comment on the stunt.

Speaking at podium after the gameBosa was asked about showing off the hat and whether it was a “political statement” ahead of the November 5 election.

“I won’t say too much about it, but I think it’s an important time,” Bosa said.

He appears to be among the few active NFL players backing a presidential candidate this campaign season, along with Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Harrison Butker, who endorsed Trump earlier this year.

Bosa has never been shy about showing his support for the 45th President.

The former Ohio State defensive back was drafted second overall by the 49ers in 2019 and received a congratulatory shout from then-President Trump, telling him to “always stay true to yourself.”

“Great talent! San Francisco will accept you, but most importantly, always stay true to yourself. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump posted on X, officially Twitter.

However, before enlisting in the military, the four-time Pro Bowler said he was forced to delete several tweets that expressed support for President Trump.

“I should have,” he said ESPN. “There’s a chance I’ll end up in San Francisco.”

Among his deleted tweets were statements in which he called former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick a “clown” for kneeling during the national anthem.

Bosa also reportedly said he was a “big fan” of the former commander-in-chief when Trump ran for president in the 2016 presidential election. SFGate.

“Yes, a big fan,” Bosa said at the time, according to the publication. “He brings a charisma that no other candidate in my life has had.”

Bosa, a Fort Lauderdale native, tweeted, “Love this man,” while retweeting a video of Trump’s weekly address.

He also posted a photo of himself giving a thumbs up next to a cardboard cutout of Trump.

The NFL star was also spotted earlier this year posing for a photo with Trump at a UFC event alongside Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and safety Sam Hubbard.

During a 30-24 win over the Cowboys on Sunday night, he made three tackles, a sack and three QB hits.

The 2022 Defensive Player of the Year now has 4.5 sacks for the 2024 season.
