Body found near river at Whitney Point – Carswellfamilyfoundation

WHITNEY POINT, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – New York State Police are currently investigating a death in Whitney Point.

On October 24, at approximately 11:47 a.m., police and emergency personnel responded to a fishing spot in front of 2677 Main Street in the Village of Whitney Point for a report of a body.

A 35-year-old Whitney Point man was found dead along the river bank, police said.

The investigation is ongoing. Police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
