Free coffee and donuts offered to first responders at Krispy Kreme on Monday

First responders can receive free coffee and donut on Monday at Krispy Kreme, the chain said.

The deal, released on National First Responder Day, honors the hardworking men and women who are often the first on the scene of an emergency.

It includes firefighters, police, EMTs and paramedics.

First responders can receive a free small coffee, hot or iced, and a free donut of their choice – no purchase necessary.

Krispy Kreme said the deal is only valid through October 28 at participating U.S. locations and is limited to one guest per visit. It can be purchased in stores and for a fee.

Free Glazed Donut for Halloween Costumes

Meanwhile, Krispy Kreme announced that customers who wear any Halloween costume at participating stores on Oct. 31 will be eligible to receive a free donut. Again, no purchase required.

As part of the deal, suit wearers receive a free Original Glazed donut, the chain said.
