The $1 million Lucky Day Lotto ticket was purchased over the weekend at a Jewel-Osco store in suburban Chicago.

According to lottery officials, the winning ticket was purchased for last Sunday evening’s drawing at Jewel Osco, located at 153 Schiller St. in Elmhurst. To win the jackpot, match the following five numbers on the ticket: 2-3-24-25-28.

Dolton Mayor Tiffany Hanyard faces eviction, landlord speaks out: ‘I have nowhere else to turn’

Controversial Dolton mayor Tiffany Hanyard faces a new battle. She’s being evicted for not paying rent, and now Henyard’s landlord is opening up about her problems with her tenant.

A Chicago man has been charged for posting photos of a Glock switch pistol on social media, feds say.

A Chicago man has been charged with illegally possessing a machine gun conversion device after photos of it were posted on social media.

Federal agents searched the South Side home of 22-year-old Latavion Johnson on Thursday and found a conversion device in a tool bag in his bedroom. A device known as a “Glock switch” or “automatic sear” allows the firearm to fire multiple shots with a single pull of the trigger.

‘Pink Cocaine’ Suspect Seized at River North Stop, Two Arrested

Two people are in custody after authorities discovered suspected “pink cocaine” and a firearm during a traffic stop in the River North area earlier this week.

Cook County deputies conducted a traffic stop Oct. 23 in the 300 block of Wells Street, which led to the arrest of 23-year-old Joscarlis Rondon and 24-year-old Alfonso Carpentero.
