Rain is coming for Halloween

25 WEATHER – We’re nearing the end of the month and it looks like all of October has been mostly sunny, warmer than normal and with very little rainfall. Some things are about to change, but first, we’ll have another day of the same old weather tomorrow. Expect sun and clouds with highs in the mid-80s. It will be windy, although Tuesday will be even windier with a south wind at 20 mph. However, this will also increase the humidity in that room.

This should lead to some spotty rain here and there on Tuesday. This is all ahead of a large cold front moving in that direction, which should move into the region late Wednesday and stick around until Friday. Showers should begin Wednesday evening, with rain continuing throughout most of Thursday (along with a few thunderstorms). It looks like rain might put a damper on the Halloween fun, but for now I’d say most of the rain will fall before this evening.

There will be cooler air in the second half of the week and showers over the weekend.
