Premier League: a good moment for Arsenal and Liverpool?

Arsenal fan Joel Beyia and Liverpool fan Neil Atkinson joined BBC Radio 5 Live to reflect on Sunday’s 2-2 draw at the Emirates.

“I’m glad we played well, considering all the injuries,” said gunner Beya. “It was interesting, but we want to win home games. We had such a brilliant first half, but Liverpool were too resilient.”

“I’m not very happy with this point, but I’ll take it. You don’t win the league and lose it in October, so I’m happy.”

“We just need to stick together and do the best we can. That’s why we have players who can play in different positions.”

Reds fan Atkinson added: “I’m happy with this moment. It was our toughest game of the season so far, so to get there twice and come back from behind shows we’re not going anywhere.”

“I’m glad that Manchester City and Arsenal fans continue to talk about fighting for the title while we collect points. We are in a comfortable position at the moment.”
