COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The City of Colorado Springs is encouraging residents to sign up for text and email alerts, offering a prize package to one lucky winner.

City officials announced Monday that they are offering the “ultimate USA Olympic City hometown giveaway” to one person who signs up for alerts.

The grand prize, worth approximately $1,700, includes Colorado Springs experiences:

  • Four packages of tickets to visit Pikes Peak – America’s Mountains.
  • Four packages of tickets to the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum.
  • Two tickets to the College Tiger Hockey game against UNLV on December 29th.
  • Four tickets to the Air Force Football game against Oregon State on November 16th.
  • Four tickets to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks’ first home game in 2025.
  • 18 hole quadruple package at Patty Jewett Golf Course.
  • 18 hole quadruple package at Valley Hi Golf Course.
  • Four packages of tickets to the Sertich Ice Center (including skate rental).
  • Hybl Center Performance Package – Unlimited access to adult classes, gait analysis and InBody body composition measurements.

Residents can enter to win a random drawing by signing up for both the city newsletter and text message service before November 1st. As a bonus, once residents sign up, they will receive a referral link that they can share with friends, which will grant them a bonus entry. in a drawing for every friend who registers. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and reside in Colorado Springs.

The city’s new text messaging service will provide residents with a simple and direct way to stay informed of periodic key important city updates. The text messaging service joins the city’s weekly newsletter and is the best way to stay informed about city issues that matter to residents.

“We constantly hear from residents that they want to know how they can stay informed, and text messaging is one of the easiest ways to get short, quick updates that are important to residents,” said city engagement and marketing specialist Joe Hollmann . “By simply registering, residents receive a truly amazing prize package, including tickets for themselves, their friends or family.”
