Costco smoked salmon removed from shelves due to listeria

Here’s what we know: On October 22, 2024, national fish supplier Acme Smoked Fish Corp. announced a voluntary recall. Company sent a letter to possibly affected Costco customers, detailing the potential contamination of their Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon Listeria monocytogenes.

All affected packages have lot number 8512801270 on the front of the package, according to the statement.

The potentially contaminated fish were sold only to select Costco stores in Florida between October 9 and October 13, 2024, according to the FDA statement.
