Ken Jennings apologizes for ‘problematic’ ‘Jeopardy!’ Reply

During an episode of “Jeopardy!” on October 28th the situation became a little awkward.

This episode had a category called “Complete the Rhyming Phrase.” Participant Heather Ryan, who wore glasses, chose a $400 clue in this category that read, “Men rarely go around…”. The answer was: “Girls who wear glasses.”

Defending champion Will Wallace gave the correct answer.

“Yes, it’s a little problematic,” presenter Ken Jennings said after Wallace gave his answer.

“Very,” agreed Wallace.

“Sorry, Heather,” added Jennings, who has been the show’s sole host since Mayim Bialik broke the news last December. she’s no longer in this business.
