Sewer Line Clogged Impacts Grand Junction Residents

Sewer Line Clogged Impacts Grand Junction Residents

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – Some local residents woke up early Tuesday morning to a clogged sewer line.

The clog is caused by repair work at the Ridges 1 lift station near Ridges Boulevard and Highway 340.

Anyone living in the area is asked to reduce their water consumption and flush as little as possible over the next 48 hours.

City of Grand Junction officials have located the line and are working to fix it. The left lane of traffic near the intersection of Broadway and Safeway is temporarily closed as crews work.

Updates can be found on the city’s social media channels and their website. For customer service questions, Utilities can be reached at (970) 244-1579.
