Jury finds teenager guilty of killing two Jackson teenagers

JACKSON, Okla. (KSWO) – A teenager accused of killing two Jackson County teenagers in 2022 was found guilty on Monday, October 28th.

Dawan Brown was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Steven Jackson and DeAgo Edwards.

His trial began last week and a jury found him guilty on both counts Monday.

The jury recommended he be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, and his formal sentencing was set for January, according to court documents.

Another person charged in the death Ashton Parker was found guilty earlier this year.
