A shocking incident took place in Dambal Thanda village where a seven-foot crocodile was discovered in the house of a local resident, sending the community into a frenzy. An unusual sight occurred late at night when Radhe Shyam, a homeowner, woke up to strange sounds coming from his room.

According to Shyam, the recent flooding of the Sharda River drove the crocodiles into nearby ponds, which likely contributed to the reptile’s sudden appearance in the village. Shyam said that after dinner he went to bed, but around three o’clock in the morning he was startled by sounds coming from the room. After examining it with a flashlight, he was shocked to find a large crocodile resting in the corner.

The startling discovery quickly attracted the attention of residents of a nearby village, who gathered in alarm and began recording the scene, which later went viral on social media. In the midst of the chaos, the villagers quickly alerted local forest officials about the situation.

Quickly responding to the call for help, a team from the forest department, including forest ranger Avneesh Sharma and inspector Vijay Singh, arrived at the scene. They successfully caught the crocodile and transported it back to the Sharda River, where it was safely released.

Officials stressed that crocodiles are increasingly entering residential areas as their natural habitat is under threat.
