Teenager with cancer who met Princess of Wales photographs fashion models to make wishes come true

Her mother told The Telegraph: “We know the future is coming, but we just don’t think about it. Obviously there are times in the dead of night when you can’t help but think about it, but overall we cope by focusing on the next exciting thing Liz is doing and thinking about the happy days she’s had this week. .

“It keeps us all going, not just Liz. As a parent, all you want is for your children’s dreams to come true.”

Ms Robaina explained she wanted her daughter to remain “focused on what she can still do”, adding: “We’re really lucky because most people at the stage of her cancer won’t be traveling.”

She thanked her daughter’s medical team for “going above and beyond” to make her dream come true.

Liz said she initially told her mother there was “no point” in posting the now viral wishlist on X, explaining she didn’t think anyone would read it.

“But people are definitely reading it,” she said. “They did so much more, and for that I can only be very grateful, because even if they didn’t actively do anything, even if they just liked it or shared it… it just shows the kindness of humanity in reality.

“Kindness in general was something that my whole family needed even at the time this was especially published, but in reality, kindness is needed by everyone, always.”

The teenager photographed Beatrice Ax and Storm signee Tallulah Harris at a studio in Peckham, south London, on Tuesday in a photo shoot styled by Edie Rose.
