Bisati Bharat from Anantapur was shortlisted for the Russian award

Anantapur: Bisati Bharat, a social worker from Kandikapula village in Putlur Mandal in Anantapur district, has been shortlisted for the prestigious international We Are Together Award of the Russian Federation.

The Prize recognizes citizens and organizations around the world who work on humanitarian issues. Last year the award went to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Bisati Bharat was shortlisted for the award in the Equal Opportunity, Social Justice and Youth Development category. He will travel to Russia for the awards ceremony on December 5, 2024, when the name of the prize winner will be announced. All preparations for it are made by the owners in Russia.

Bharat thanked the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and members of its Pragati Padham Youth Association for their support since 2012 in various social activities.
