After a grueling royal tour of Australia, King Charles and Queen Camilla are taking a well-deserved “mini break” to recuperate.

According to GB News, the 75-year-old monarch and his wife took time out of their busy schedules to spend time at the exclusive resort, known for its yoga, wellness programs and Ayurvedic treatments.

Returning from a 35-hour journey following the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in the South Pacific, King Charles and Queen Camilla are treating themselves to a “mini break”.

Famous celebrities such as the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Dame Emma Thompson were frequent visitors to the resort.

Dr Issac Mathai, King Charles’s long-time health adviser, looked after the Sukya resort.

He previously described the royals as “the least demanding of my guests.”

According to the schedule, the king and queen began their day with morning yoga classes, breakfast and rejuvenating treatments before a healthy vegetarian lunch.

Before dinner, they also did a second round of therapy and a meditation session.

It is said that the king and queen will turn off the lights by 9 pm.

It should be noted that earlier in February, King Charles announced that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and was temporarily stepping back from royal duties.

However, during his nine-day royal tour of the South Pacific, King Charles stopped treatment for cancer.
