Two referee errors during Kaizer Chiefs’ match with Magezi

SuperSportTV reports this in an interview iDiskiTimesNabi said the match official made two important mistakes that affected the outcome of the match. Kaizer Chiefs and Magesi.

The Tunisian’s mentor insisted his side were denied a clear penalty and the free kick awarded to the home side, which led to their second goal, should have been awarded to Amakhosi instead.

“Obviously we’re very disappointed, but we need to talk about how the referees are officiating the game,” he said.

“We think it’s more than just time for VAR to come into this great league, the PSL, because we think Duba was a penalty. Everyone will see these images.”

“And the second goal they scored, for us it’s a free kick, but for them it becomes a free kick, which gives them a second goal.”

“We don’t want to put pressure on anyone. We know that referees are people too and they also make mistakes,” added the former AS FAR Rabat coach.

“But we encourage the league officials to use VAR to help the referees because every time we feel like we are being punished in every game.”
