Harris hasn’t ‘defined herself’ as Biden undermines her: Tiana Lowe Doscher

Washington Examiners Tiana Low Dosher appreciated that the vice president Kamala Harris has failed to adequately demonstrate what she stands for with the election less than a week away.

Harris made her closing argument in a speech in Washington, DC.on Tuesday night, during which she expressed her desire to “turn the page.” Doscher, commentator for Washington Equizorargued that Harris has done a “decent job of trying” to paint voters a picture of how she views the former president Donald Trump be, although voters already know who he is based on his political activity over the past 10 years.

“She still hasn’t defined herself and brought that same message to her team,” Doscher said on Fox News. Your World with Neil Cavuto. “’Turn the page’ doesn’t really work unless you know what policy it wants to abandon. The best thing she could do was get Tim Walz and Joe Biden to stop hyping her call for normalcy.”

Daughter’s comments mentioned the President Joe Biden recent comment that Trump supporters are “trash,” in addition to Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.), Harris’s running mate, recently suggesting that there is a “direct parallel” Between the Trump event at Madison Square Garden and the 1939 Nazi event held in the same area, it didn’t help. Doscher said Biden’s comment “undermined” the appeal Harris is trying to achieve and that he also inadvertently helped Trump distracting attention from the controversy that arose at his Sunday rally.

With the presidential election just days away, Doscher said the former president should “absolutely” try to reach out to the former Republican presidential candidate. Nikki Haleywho recently revealed that she and Trump haven’t spoken since June. Doscher pointed out that “more than 100,000” voters supported Haley in the GOP presidential primary, adding that Haley’s help could allow Trump to finally win among Republican voters who choose not to support either him or Harris.

Following Biden’s “trash” comment, Haley was among the Republicans who spoke out against the president, saying, “This is not a schoolyard.” Although she stated that she had not spoken to the former president since June, she was one of many Republicans speaking at the 2024 Republican National Convention in Julyduring which she stated that Trump asked her to speak at the convention “in the name of unity” and that she was happy to accept the offer.
