Siemens sells airport logistics company for $325 million

Global company Siemens has reached an agreement to sell its airport logistics division to Dutch firm Vanderlande for €300 million ($325 million).

Siemens Logistics announced the agreement on October 31, 2024, confirming that the deal is expected to close in 2025.

Vanderlandeowned by Toyota Industries Corporation, based in Veghel and operating in the warehousing logistics sector, airportsand fields of plots.

“In Vanderlande, we have found the best future owner of our airport logistics business,” said Ralph Thomas, Chief Financial Officer of Siemens AG. “I am very pleased that we have enabled Siemens Logistics to become a stable, profitable and leading company in the airport logistics sector. Siemens Logistics has a global presence through its regional companies and has partnerships with many leading airports and airlines.
