Five killed in Israel as a result of Hezbollah airstrike: IDF eliminated terrorist group’s special forces commander

Five people were killed in a Hezbollah rocket attack in northern Israel on Thursday, a day after an IDF airstrike killed the commander of the terrorist group’s special forces unit.

A Hezbollah attack on Metula, a town along the Israel-Lebanon border, killed an Israeli farmer and four foreign farm workers and seriously injured a fifth foreign worker, a local official told TPS.

The strike that killed Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi of Hezbollah’s Radwan forces took place near the town of Nabatiyah, south of Beirut, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

“Mustafa Ahmad Shahadi has advanced numerous terrorist attacks against the State of Israel,” the IDF statement said. “His attack is part of efforts to reduce the ability of Hezbollah Radwan forces to direct and carry out terrorist activities against IDF troops and communities on the northern border, in particular the Galilee plan.”

Southern Lebanon.” The IDF also stated this. “The IDF will continue to act against terrorists and commanders of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, as well as against any threat posed to the citizens of Israel.”

Lebanon’s health ministry also said on Wednesday that Israeli strikes near the city of Baalbek killed 19 people, including eight women.

The IDF says it targeted “command centers and terrorist infrastructure used by the terrorist organization Hezbollah” in the region.
