Manhattan’s Via Christi acquires urgent care clinic

Manhattan’s Via Christi acquires urgent care clinic

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Via Christie Hospital purchased in Manhattan K+STAT Emergency assistance.

Via Christi announced the acquisition Thursday, praising K+STAT’s outstanding achievements over the past 15 years and the quality it brings to the healthcare system.

“This acquisition is critical to Via Christi’s commitment to expanding healthcare options in Manhattan and bringing care closer to home for city residents,” said Bob Kopple, president of Via Christi Hospital.

Via Christi will take over its assets and operations, but K+STAT will continue to operate under its current name and location. Its online presence will be merged with Via Christi’s.

K+STAT has promised to maintain the standards of care they are known for in the community.

“We are excited to join our urgent care practice with Via Christi Manhattan and its commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care to everyone—close to home, right here in our community,” said K+STAT physician Dr. Douglas Hinkin. “Our patients can expect to continue to receive the same high-quality primary care medications that we have been providing to the community for 15 years.”

Via Christi will officially take over on November 1st. K+STAT will delay its operating hours until noon that day to complete the transfer of technology and operations.
