Wendy Wiese retires after more than 40 years in St. Louis radio.

After more than four decades in broadcasting, Missouri Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame member Wendy Wiese is set to retire from her position at KTRS-AM in St. Louis. Wiese will leave from his final shift today at 12:00 pm Central Time.

Wiese, 63, began her radio career in 1983 in smaller markets but quickly moved to St. Louis, where she was hired as a morning co-host on KMOX-AM in 1986. General information AMshe worked with Bob Hardy and Bill Wilkerson.

In 1996, Wiese and Wilkerson moved across town to KTRS, where she worked for ten years before taking a position at Relevant Radio. However, commercial radio called her back, and in 2018 she rejoined KRTS. In 2021, she began co-hosting middays with former St. Louis anchor Jennifer Blom until Blom’s retirement.

Since then, Wiese has shared the airwaves with KSDK sportscaster Frank Cusumano, who will now be joined in her place by Jill Farmer.

In addition to radio, Wiese will continue his role on donnybrookKETC-TV public show, which she first joined in 2003.
