Oops! Jimmy Kimmel hit Trump with a joke exactly like the one that really pissed him off

Jimmy Kimmelthis is a joke about Donald Trump on Thursday, it could hurt the former president given the ongoing feud between the two.

This week, Trump donned an orange vest and rode on a garbage truck for a photo opportunity.

“Trash drives a truck,” Kimmel said.

But Kimmel saw a silver lining for the former president, who is awaiting sentencing after being convicted on 34 counts in New York and is involved in a number of other criminal cases.

“This vest will come in handy when he’s out on the side of the highway picking up trash with other inmates,” Kimmel said.

The jab isn’t all that different from a joke Kimmel told earlier this year that shocked the former president so much that he’s complained about it ever since.

That happened in March when Trump posted an angry message on his Truth Social website targeting Kimmel, who was hosting the Oscars. Kimmel read it live on the show and then said he was surprised Trump was still watching.

“Isn’t your prison sentence over?? Kimmel recounted one of the event’s most viral moments.

Trump, who is reportedly tried to censor Kimmel when he was president, he often and accidentally remembered this joke, including in the Truth Social post in early October and at a rally in September where he completely ruined the punchline.
