The Los Angeles Dodgers are still basking in the glory of winning their eighth World Series title. But as they prepare for the parade, the front office is likely already making plans for the team’s 2025 roster. Will those plans include pal Willie Adams?

Seven different players the Dodgers’ 2024 roster player. Mookie Betts, Miguel Rojas and Tommy Edman took up most of the playing time. While Edman made headlines by winning the NLCS MVP award, he also hit free agency this winter. Los Angeles could turn to the open market to fill that hole permanently, providing ample financial flexibility and making a big splash.

Bleacher Report’s Eric Beeston shared several offseason predictions for October 31st after the World Series ends. As a top agent, Adames will have no shortage of legitimate admirers. It’s also hard to find a more attractive team than the Dodgers. Beeston predicts Los Angeles will “become richer” by acquiring the right-hander this winter.

Adams has spent the last three and a half seasons establishing himself as the top offensive player for the Milwaukee Brewers. His last campaign before free agency was also one of his best. Adames hit .251/.331/.462, setting new career highs in home runs (32), doubles (33), RBIs (112) and runs scored (93) in 2024.

It has also proven its durability. The 29-year-old has appeared in at least 139 games every year since 2021. After making $12.25 million with Milwaukee last season, he’s in line for a major raise. Spotrac tied Adams’ market value after six years and $152 million.
