The estimated jackpot for the drawing is $281 million. The cash option is approximately $131.5 million. If no one wins, the jackpot increases in the next drawing.

Players select six numbers from two separate sets of numbers – five different numbers from 1 to 70 and one number from 1 to 25 – or select the “Easy Pick”. A player wins the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing.

Jackpot winners can choose whether to receive 30 annual payments, each five percent higher than the previous one, or a lump sum payment.

Mega Millions draws are held on Tuesdays and Fridays in 45 states, Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 each.
