Lyft app issues affecting ND Sober Ride codes

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – As North Dakotans prepare for the Halloween holiday weekend, ND Sober Ride is offering discounted Lyft rides.

Codes are available from October 31st to November 2nd or while they last. Use Lyft code “VZHALLOWEEN24” to get $10 off your ride.

However, on Friday afternoon they reported that Lyft was experiencing technical difficulties with their app, preventing ND Sober Ride codes from being loaded.

“We encourage everyone to plan ahead for a safe holiday weekend. If you need a sober ride this weekend, we recommend considering alternative options such as local ride-hailing services, other ride-sharing apps, or ridesharing with sober friends,” said Lauren Wahlman, NDDOT Safety Public Information Program Manager.
