Danish citizen claims he voted for Trump in US election, revealing major loophole in system

A Danish user’s joke about voting in the US without ID has sparked debate about election integrity.

Voter ID requirements vary across states, and debate over the issue rages on. elections right around the corner. During the US elections, there was a huge disparity in voter ID requirements across states. While some states have problems with photo IDs, others don’t even require them to access polling places. Danish user X made a sarcastic comment about the same in one of his recent posts, which left some netizens gasping and others going wild.

A Danish citizen joked about a loophole in the US elections

User X from Denmark shared a photo ballot their vote was noted for Donald Trump. The user wrote next to the photo: “I’m Danish, but the US doesn’t require a voter ID, so I figured I’d vote for Trump while I’m here on vacation. Regards.” The user subtly highlighted this huge loophole in the US election system, given that some states do not require any identification from citizens before voting. They added: “For legal reasons, this is a joke.”

States have been divided into three categories of voter ID requirements, which include strict photo ID states where voters must present certain forms of photo ID to vote. Next are states without photo ID, where voters are asked to show photo ID but can usually provide an alternative form of ID or sign the ID. affidavit if they don’t have it. The latter are no-ID states, where voters do not have to show any form of identification to vote.

Similar comments were made previously when a user posted a similar quote along with an image of a ballot. The only difference was that they were citizens Canada.

User X responded to the Danish user’s post and wrote: “500 thousand views and you will be banned from America forever.” A second user joked, “I voted 36 times in 8 different swing states.” A third user wrote: “If you want to vote, you should have entered the US illegally.”

Another user wrote: “This is crazy…even in third world countries this shit doesn’t happen…no ID to vote!!!!” and one user wrote: “I made my great-grandfather vote, who passed in 2003. Take the whole family with you!” The user wrote: “Thanks mate. Enjoy your holiday. If you stop anywhere else where polling stations are open, you can vote again.”
