Letter: Two O’Clock Christians Should Study the Bible More Closely | Opinion

To the Editor—We have people who call themselves Christians supporting a very un-Christian man. Some even call him a savior, breaking Commandment #1.

He was married three times and cheated on all of his wives, violating Commandment #7.

He insults people and calls them names. He calls our brave men and women military failures for their service. He tells lies, violating Commandment No. 9, and expresses his anger towards people who look different than him. Definitely does not love others as he loves himself.

He changes his position with the winds of the times: he says he opposes abortion, and then says he will not rule against it. As for those who support him, perhaps they are “2 o’clock” Christians. On Sunday they attend church for two hours, professing their faith, then for the next six days and 22 hours they support the irreligious person by repeating his lies. They reflect his hatred and anger towards others, saying that they are the cause of all problems. It is definitely not Christian to not love others as ourselves.
