How to play Connections

If you’ve never played Connections Previously, the rules of the game were quite simple, just solve a puzzle that could be difficult.

To begin, players are given a table of 16 words. They are divided into four groups of four based on common characteristics and categorized. The categories range in difficulty from yellow to green to blue to purple, with yellow considered the easiest category and purple the most difficult.

For example, recent game combined the words “braid,” “bun,” “pony,” and “twist” into the “Ways to style your hair” category. This was the blue category.

After selecting four words, click the “Submit” button. If your choice is correct, they will appear in the category color and disappear from the grid. However, if they are incorrect, they will remain gray and remain on the board.

If you get stuck, try clicking the Shuffle button to move the words to a different location in the grid. This could give you the upgrade you’ve been looking for.
