Maureen (Mary) Farrell

Ballyjamsduff, Cavan

The death of Maureen (Mary) Farrell, nee Carter, occurred on October 30, 2024, (Donaghmead) Ballyjamessuf, in the care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Terry. Maureen will be greatly missed by her loving family, son Terence, daughter Roisin, son-in-law Kevin, daughter-in-law Ife, grandchildren Jordan, Alanna, Hannah, Isabelle, Faith, great-granddaughter Libby and all her relatives, friends and neighbors.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Resting at home in Granard Road, Ballyjamsduff on Sunday from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12.30pm at St Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamsduff followed by cremation at Lakeland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12 RF78).

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Ballyjamsduff Cancer Foundation.

Patrick (Paddy) Nelson

Donacarney, Meath / Drogheda, Louth / Arwagh, Cavan

Patrick (Paddy) Nelson, Mornington Park, Donacarney, Co. Meath, formerly of The Admirals, Shop Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Glenside Hotel and later Arwagh, Co. Cavan. October 30, 2024 Peaceful at Silverstream Nursing Home, Duleek. Predeceased by his parents Alec and Molly and his beloved grandson Sean. Loving husband of Sheila and dad of David, Hilary and Caroline. Paddy will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughters, loving daughter-in-law Martina, sons-in-law Rob and Finn, grandchildren Jonah, Molly, Lauren, Daisy and Frankie, brothers-in-law, sisters…brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins ​​and many friends.

May He rest in peace.

Resting at Townley Funeral Home, Crosslanes A92 XN75 on Sunday from 3pm to 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am at Star of the Sea Church, Mornington, followed by a private cremation at Dardistown Crematorium at 1.30pm, which will be live-streamed.

A special thank you to all the staff at Silverstream Care Home for the warmth and compassion they showed Paddy during his two years there.

Ward, Frank – October 31, 2024 (Ballyjamsduff and formerly Castletimon Road, Kilmore West), (suddenly), surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Eileen and loving father of Ian, Colette, Mark, Michelle, Dawn and the late Frank Jr. Frank will be greatly missed by his sons and daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister Lily, as well as the late Kathleen and Alice, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbors and the entire staff of Silverstream Nursing Homes.

Resting at Jennings Oscar Traynor Coolock Funeral Home, D17FK58 on Sunday afternoon, November 3rd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Monday afternoon transfer to Dardistown Crematorium for cremation at 2.30pm.

Jim McGee

Elm Park, Kildare Town, Kildare/Monaghan

Jim McGee, Elm Park, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare. Previously worked in Coolmain, County Monaghan and New York. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by a loving family. Beloved husband of the late Marie. Sadly his loving children Breda, Michael, Jimmy, Eileen, Deirdre and Brendan, sons-in-law Sean, John and Stephen (rip), daughters-in-law Roisin, Orla and Joanna, his 17 grandchildren, son-in-law Tom, nephews, nieces, his guardian Lily, relatives, neighbors and friends.

Resting at McVays Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town (Eircode: R51 TE20) on Sunday from 4pm with Rosary at 7pm. Removal is by Glennons Funeral Homes on Monday morning to arrive at the Carmelite Church, Kildare Town for the funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Conleth’s Cemetery, Kildare Town.
