In the episode on Fairytale Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Shalini Passi showcases her singing skills. She was seen singing a song Mitvaand in another episode she sang a song to a giraffe. Talking about the same, in an interview with Miss Malini, Shalini Passi revealed that her teacher was not happy with her singing on the show.

The philanthropist said her sir told her she wasn’t exercising enough. Shalini sir also mentioned that she should start rehearsing as she cannot continue singing like this while his other students are attending shows like Indian Idol. Remembering what the teacher told her, Shalini said:

“As for singing, my sir told me that you have not practiced. You didn’t have time after COVID. My students go to Indian Idol. You can’t sing. He told me: “Madam, I am a respected person. students go on Indian Idol. You can’t sing with that voice without any rehearsal.”

In the same interview, Shalini Passi spoke about the immense love she received for her stint on the show. The philanthropist added that the thing is different, and the way people say they want to be like her and sing like her is most similar to the giraffe who was present nearby when she sang. According to Shalini:

“The love I receive is something else. People say, “We want to be like you, we like what you do, we like your singing.” I was like, “What?” It was as if a giraffe had arrived. The giraffe was actually almost there.”

When Shalini Passi spoke about her insecurities about her ‘big’ nose

In an interview with Brut Shalini Passi opens up about her lack of self-confidence. The charity worker added that she used to be very insecure about her nose because she felt it was a little bigger. Shalini noted that she is an artist, so her proportions are very well adjusted and therefore she felt that her nose should remain slightly larger than her upper lip. Shalini said that she stopped smiling due to her insecurity as she felt that her nose would get bigger. Well, later she read somewhere that those with bigger noses actually have strong character, and soon after that she learned to master what she had.

Personal life of Shalini Passi

Shalini Passi got married when she was only 20 years old. Speaking about the same to Brut, Shalini said that a group of girls barged into her friend’s wedding to talk to her and question her about details of her personal life, including whether she was engaged. Well, these girls spoke to Shalini’s present relatives and later on the industrialist’s evening, Sanjay Passi’s parents met her family member and their wedding was fixed. They married in 2001 and have a son, Robin Passey.
