Martin Truex Jr. will lead the Xfinity 500 field. NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race at Martinsville Speedway.

Truex earned his first pole of the season with a time of 19.686, 0.072 seconds ahead of Chase Elliott.

Denny Hamlin failed to qualify after a crash in practice left Joe Gibbs’ No. 11 Toyota in the garage for repairs.
